A California native and Vallejo resident since 2010, you may have seen Sherry driving around town in her ladybug truck. She is known artistically as a mosaic artist and created the mosaic totem pole sculpture by the Vallejo Ferry Building. Her studio known as Broken Space is located in the Mare Island Art Studios. She wants her art to be fun, and to engage the imagination and creativity of other people. She hopes her art stretches the mind of the observer to perceive what, to her, is the art in ordinary things. This last year she has been working with collage and is very happy to have some of her work shown at Capital City Pharmacy.
Verlannia is a Vallejo original and has built quite a following in our community. She is well known for her unique style of painting, her painted electrical box on Marin St @ Florida St, and her tireless work making and selling art at Farmers Market, Moschetti Artisan Market and other local festivals. She has been showing and creating art with Artiszen Vallejo since we very first opened in 2013. We are extremely proud to have her as one of our artists!
